Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the ICT Week "ICTWEEK - 2022", the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov met with the responsible UN Commissioner Vincenzo Acuaro.

At the beginning of the dialogue, the parties exchanged views on the UN rating for the current year.

In turn, Vincenzo Acuaro noted that in the shortest possible time he managed to translate the results of the study into Russian, and also thanked the Uzbek side for publishing the UN Study: E-Government 2022.

The meeting also discussed issues of expanding cooperation and further steps to increase the e-government index of Uzbekistan.

Vincenzo Acuaro is the Head of the Division of Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNECA).

The main task of UN DESA is to contribute to the solution of common problems of countries, the development of countries by holding major global conferences and summits in the field of economics, social and environmental spheres in accordance with the powers of the UN member states.
