Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov got acquainted with the activities of the Single Call Center at the branch "Sales and Service Center" of Uzbektelecom.
The results achieved were reviewed. In particular, it was noted that at the moment more than 700 employees are involved in the Call Center, who provide services for processing calls regarding Internet and mobile communication services from UZTELECOM, as well as the activities of more than ten state bodies, public organizations and business entities. In particular, more than 150 Call Center employees are involved in processing applications to the Virtual Reception of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It was noted that more than 45 thousand calls are processed daily. And if we compare with 2011, when the number of processed calls was more than 500 thousand, then in 2021 more than 16 million calls were processed.
During the presentation, the Minister of ICT Sherzod Shermatov expressed his proposals and opinions, and also noted the need for a joint study of existing problems in this area, support in finding their solution.
