The medalists of the tournament in memory of Akhbor Imomkhodzhaev were determined

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The results of the football tournament in memory of Akhbor Imomkhojaev, which started on 3 July, have been summed up. These competitions, which lasted 4 days, united football fans and creative people even more, giving unforgettable emotions. Today, within the framework of the competition, the decisive matches took place.

The teams that took first places in their subgroups fought for the victory. In the final match, the veterans of the Uzbekistan Football Association and the Sulola team, consisting of the children and grandchildren of Akhbor Imomkhodzhaev, contested the first place among themselves. A spectacular and uncompromising match ended with the victory of the AFU team with a score of 4:2. Veterans of "Pakhtakor" in the struggle for the third place defeated the representatives of the website championat.asia, 3:1.

The rest of the places were taken by the teams Sharkhlovchi, Tong2, sports.uz and Zhurnalistlar. According to the results of the tournament, the winners were determined in such categories as Top Scorer, Best Goalkeeper, Best Player, Oldest Player. All those who distinguished themselves were rewarded by the organizers. The award ceremony was attended by the 1st Deputy Chairman of the NOC, 1st Vice-President of the AFU Ravshan Irmatov, Chairman of the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Makhsitov, Head of the Department for Work with Veterans of the AFU Tulagan Isokov, as well as such Uzbek football stars as Birodar Abduraimov , Mirzhalol Kasimov.
