Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoev held a meeting with the executive director of the Malaysian company Erwan Technology Sdn. Bhd Lee Yeow Lung, Dunyo news agency reported.
During the conversation, the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan on the processing of copper raw materials, modernization of the country’s energy system, as well as the possibilities for the production of electrical products were highlighted. Detailed information was presented on tax and customs benefits provided to foreign investors in the republic.
Issues of implementing joint investment projects in the regions of Uzbekistan for the production of transformers and small types of household electrical products were also discussed.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the visit of a Malaysian company to Uzbekistan in order to develop specific projects in these areas.
Erwan Technology Sdn. Bhd. is part of the ERWAN investment holding, created in 1993. This holding includes more than 40 companies operating in various fields such as engineering, extraction and sale of minerals and precious metals, oil and gas, as well as the production of medical equipment.
