Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government resolution “On measures to organize the activities of the Taekwondo Academy of Uzbekistan and specialized taekwondo centers” was adopted.

The resolution defines the main tasks of the Taekwondo Academy.

Among them are the study of best practices in the field of taekwondo (WT), the development of recommendations, the development of international relations with leading institutions in foreign countries.

Until 1 February 2023, empty premises that are not used to organize specialized taekwondo centers in the regions will be transferred free of charge for temporary use to the territorial divisions of the taekwondo association (WT), whose activities will be established.

According to the document, citizens of Uzbekistan and foreign citizens are admitted to the Taekwondo Academy on a paid-contract basis for advanced training and professional skills.

In accordance with the resolution of the President from 29 July 2022, the creation of the Taekwondo Academy, as well as 14 specialized taekwondo centers in the regions in 2023-2024, is planned in the taekwondo association system (WT).
