Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights decided to reduce the daily limit for the purchase of AI-80 gasoline at the commodity exchange.

According to the decision, from 22 November, the maximum purchase volume of this type of fuel produced by the Bukhara oil refinery is reduced from 10 to 4 tons for one buyer. The decision was made after analyzing and taking into account the requests received.

An exception to this restriction is made for Seg Tasco (a subsidiary of Saneg), Natural Gas-Stream, New Silk Road Oil and Gas and other fuel producers, who can continue to sell up to 10 tons of AI-80 gasoline to one buyer.

The Committee also instructed to ensure the sale of at least 80% of gasoline in 1-ton lots, the remaining volumes being 55 and 60 tons, respectively.

In August the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights set a daily limit on the purchase of AI-80 gasoline in the amount of 5 tons, which, in combination with other measures, led to a decrease in gasoline prices and some stabilization of the market. However, in October this limit was raised to 10 tons.
