Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 April 2024, the National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) revoked the license of UNIVERSAL SUG’URTA JSC, the agency’s press service announced this.

This decision was made in accordance with Article 33 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On licensing, permitting and notification procedures” and paragraph 49 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 21, 2022 No. 80 “On approval of a unified regulation on the procedure for licensing certain types of activities through a special electronic systems."

NAPP notes that the license issued by UNIVERSAL SUG’URTA JSC on 7 July 2022 under No. 031932 to carry out insurance activities in the field of general insurance has been canceled according to 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 grades.

UNIVERSAL SUG’URTA is obliged to fulfill, in the prescribed manner, its obligations under previously concluded insurance (reinsurance) contracts, the agency notes.
