Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Agency for Prospective Projects of Uzbekistan revoked the license of the insurance company EUROASIA LIFE INSURANCE to carry out insurance activities.
According to the agency’s press service, the decision to revoke the license of EUROASIA LIFE INSURANCE JSC was made on 2 February. The license was canceled as of 2 February.
The license was revoked in accordance with Article 33 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On licensing, permitting and notification procedures” and paragraph 49 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 21 February 2022 No. 80 “On approval of a unified regulation on the procedure for licensing certain types of activities through a special electronic system "
EUROASIA LIFE INSURANCE had a license series SF No. 00018 to carry out insurance activities in the field of life insurance in classes I, II, III and IV and in the field of general insurance in classes 1 and 2 in voluntary and compulsory forms.
The Agency notes that the EUROASIA LIFE INSURANCE is obliged to fulfill, in the prescribed manner, its obligations under previously concluded insurance (reinsurance) contracts.
