Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12-13 December, Tashkent will host the XV Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS member countries. At present, the visit of high-ranking guests who will take part in the event continues.

Today, Deputy Minister of Sports Development Abdulla Aslonov and Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov at the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov met a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, 3-time Olympic champion, 10-time winner of the world championships in figure skating Irina Rodnina.

Tomorrow the main events of the Forum will take place. Reports will be presented on such areas as further strengthening of friendly ties in various fields, bringing the development of cooperation to a new level, as well as a number of meetings with the participation of officials.

Forums of creative and scientific intelligentsia are traditionally held in the capitals of the Commonwealth countries with the participation of the leadership of the host states.
