Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law “On the management of state property”.

The law regulates relations in the field of state property management.

The right of ownership of state property arises on the grounds provided for by civil law, as well as on the following grounds:

when concluding an agreement and other transactions;

when acquiring a share by contributing to the authorized capital (authorized capital) of a business company property or the right to use it, debts on taxes and fees, as well as dividends accrued on the state share;

based on court decisions.

By law, some state facilities are not subject to privatization, including:

land, subsoil, as well as reservoirs, reservoirs, airspace, flora and fauna within the territory of Uzbekistan;

objects of material cultural heritage, archival documents, state museums and protected natural areas, including parks and botanical gardens;

The subjects of state property management are:

Cabinet of Ministers;

Agency;

specially authorized state bodies;

state institutions, including state bodies;

local government authorities.

The State Assets Management Agency is the authorized state body in the field of state property management.

The maintenance of the register of state property is carried out by the Agency in the manner and form established by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Agency publishes a summary report on the performance of enterprises with the participation of the state for the past financial year on its official website every year until 1 August.

The law comes into force from the day of its official publication.
