Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Increasing demand of citizens for consumer loans and expansion of supply of products and services in recent years require amendments to the Law on allocation of financial consumer loans.
Taking into account such factors the thirty-seventh plenary session of the Senate considered the Law "On introduction of amendments to Article 15 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On consumer loans" in connection with the improvement of the system of granting financial consumer credit.
According to the law, it is planned to allow the allocation of consumer credit and for goods (services) not produced in Uzbekistan.
In particular, amendments are made to allow financial consumer credit for goods (services) sold by individuals and legal entities, as well as goods (services) brought into the Republic of Uzbekistan outside the country.
The law also abolishes the procedure for advance written notification of the manufacturer or organization that sells consumer goods (works, services) on receipt of a consumer financial consumer credit.
The adoption of the law serves to facilitate the processing of consumer credit to the population, the expansion of production of goods and services in the country.
The law was approved by the senators.
