Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 5 to 11 January 2024, the next meeting of the working groups of the Joint Uzbek-Turkmen Demarcation Commission was held in Bukhara. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, issues of preparing cartographic materials and conducting fieldwork on certain sections of the state border between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan were discussed.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the event took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, and as a result, the corresponding Protocol was signed.

The next meeting is scheduled on the territory of Turkmenistan.
