Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22-23 September 2022, the RIPE NCC Days conference was held in Tashkent, organized by the regional Internet registrar for Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia RIPE NCC and the Unified integrator for the creation and support of state information systems UZINFOCOM.
The conference participants will discuss a number of important topics, such as the transition to IPv6, the creation of Internet exchange points (IXP) in the region and the support of the Internet of things (IoT), as well as receive up-to-date information on events in the Internet industry at a global level.
Over 150 international guests were among the conference participants: representatives of Bank Eskhata OJSC, Spetsavtomatikaservice LLP, ViaIP, NK LLC, Kazakhtelecom JSC, Mail.Ru LLC, Vimcom, Kazakhstan Network Information Center (KazNIC), PS Internet Company LLC, KOLESA LLC, Dot Asia, Aipix, Spitamen Bank, P.A.K.T. LLC and others.
Askhat Gimranov, Head of the Administration of the .UZ domain zone of the UZINFOCOM Single Integrator, said: “The conference is designed to support cooperation between Internet network operators and provides space for an open dialogue and coordination on important technical issues. This technical coordination between organizations helps to maintain the security and stability of Internet connections in Uzbekistan and the region as a whole. An important outcome of the international conference will be the positioning of Uzbekistan as a leading center of excellence and learning in the region.”
