Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  At an extraordinary FIFA Congress held on December 11 in Zurich, the host countries for the 2030 and 2034 FIFA World Cups were determined.

The main organizers of the 2030 FIFA World Cup will be Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. Some matches of the tournament will also take place in South America, hosted by Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

The 2034 World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia, which was the sole candidate for hosting the tournament. Due to high summer temperatures, the championship will take place in winter.

It should be noted that the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The draw for the European qualification tournament is scheduled for 13 December.
