Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January - December 2020, the average monthly nominal accrued wages of employees of enterprises and organizations with the status of legal entities, excluding small businesses and agriculture (hereinafter referred to as average monthly wages) varied from one type of economic activity to another.

The highest level of average monthly wages was observed in financial and insurance activities and amounted to 6 230.6 thousand soums, which is 2.3 times higher than the national level, and the lowest - in health care and the provision of social services and amounted to 1 808.5 thousand soums or 67.8% of the republican level of average monthly wages.

The average monthly wage of workers in industrial enterprises (excluding small businesses) in January-December 2020 amounted to 3 682.9 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2019, by 11.2%.

The average monthly wage of workers in construction enterprises (excluding small businesses) in January-December 2020 amounted to 3 212.3 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2019, by 16.8%.

The average monthly wage of employees of trade enterprises (excluding small businesses) in January-December 2020 amounted to 2 748.1 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2019, by 11.6%

In January-December 2020, the average monthly м wage of workers in transportation and storage enterprises (excluding small businesses) amounted to 3 405.3 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2019, by 14.8%.

The average monthly salary of employees м of information and communications enterprises (excluding small businesses) in January-December 2020 amounted to 4 368.8 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2019, by 10.1%.

The average monthly salary of employees of financial and insurance companies (excluding small businesses) in January-December 2020 amounted to 6 230.6 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2019, by 29.7%.

In January-December 2020, the average monthly wage of workers by type of economic activity "Education" (excluding small businesses) amounted to 1 979.7 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2019, by 7.4%.

The average monthly salary of healthcare workers and social services workers (excluding small businesses) in January-December 2020 amounted to 1 808.5 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2019, by 17.9%.

In all regions of the republic, by type of economic activity, the highest level of average monthly wages was observed in the sphere of financial and insurance activities. In most regions, the lowest wages were in health care and social services.

For 3 types of economic activity, the level of the average monthly salary in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (2 383.4 thousand soums) was observed below the national average, and for other types - higher.

For 6 types of economic activity, the average monthly salary in Andijan region was lower than the average regional level (2 420.1 thousand soums), and at the enterprises of construction, industry, financial and insurance activities – higher.

For 4 types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in Bukhara region was observed below the average regional level (2 439.0 thousand soums), and for other types - higher.

For 4 types of economic activities, the level of average monthly wages in Jizzakh region was observed below the average regional level (2 125.6 thousand soums), and in the remaining 5 types - higher.

For 7 types of economic activities, the level of average monthly wages in the Kashkadarya region was observed above the average regional level (2 028.0 thousand soums), and in education, health care and the provision of social services - lower.

For 6 types of economic activities, the level of average monthly wages in Navoi region was observed below the average regional level (3 500.7 thousand soums), and in construction, industry, financial and insurance activities - higher.

For 7 types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in the Namangan region was observed above the average regional level (2 067.7 thousand soums), and in education, health care and the provision of social services - lower.

For 4 types of economic activities, the level of average monthly wages in the Samarkand region was observed below the average regional level (2 115.4 thousand soums), and in the remaining 5 types - higher.

For 7 types of economic activity, the level of the average monthly wage of the Surkhandarya region was observed above the average regional level (2 087.1 thousand soums), and in education, health care and the provision of social services - lower.
