The heads of the energy complex and khokims were given a number of instructions to ensure the stable operation of the energy system

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instruction to the heads of the energy complex and khokims were given a number of instructions to ensure the stable operation of the energy system.

In the second half of the year, it is ordered to produce 30 billion cubic meters of gas and 41 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity and provide them uninterruptedly to consumers. The president stated this today during a meeting in Bukhara, the press service of the head of state reports.

It was indicated to increase gas reserves in underground storage facilities to at least 3.5 billion cubic meters.

By 1 October, the task was set to hand over 1,100 kilometers of networks and 402 transformers.

In order to fully meet the needs of the population, the regions were instructed to supply an additional 35 thousand units of gas cylinders, and in the autumn-winter period to uninterruptedly provide the population and social facilities with 335 thousand tons of liquefied gas.

The need to produce 400,000 tons of gasoline and import 120,000 tons of gasoline by the end of the year was emphasized.

Responsible authorities from today will switch to emergency mode to ensure the stable operation of the energy system in the autumn-winter period.

The management of the energy complex, together with regional khokims and sector leaders, should take measures to save 3.7 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity and 2.4 billion cubic meters of gas by the end of the year.

The importance of installing another 250 megawatts of solar panels in public sector facilities, government agencies and business facilities was emphasized.

Reports of regional and sectoral leaders were heard at the meeting.
