Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Head of the Cabinet of Ministers and head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov arrived in Tashkent on a working visit. This was stated by the press service of the government of Kyrgyzstan.

During the visit, he will take part in the II Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held on 27 April with the participation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and more than 2,500 representatives from more than 70 countries of the world.

In addition, Akylbek Japarov will meet with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov.

“This visit is an important step in the development of economic and political relations between the two countries. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are neighboring states and have a long history of cultural and trade ties. In recent years, both countries have been actively working to strengthen cooperation and expand trade and economic relations,” the press service of the Government of Kyrgyzstan notes.
