Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Resolution “On additional measures to further support public-private partnerships in the field of preschool education” was adopted.
According to the Resolution, business entities, at their request, are allowed to extend until 1 October 2024 the grace period for preferential loans allocated in accordance with agreements concluded in 2018–2022 on the creation of non-state preschool educational organizations on the basis of public-private partnership.
Wherein:
during the grace period, business entities make exclusively interest payments on loans;
Principal payments due during the grace period are distributed in equal amounts over the remainder of the loan period.
Preferential loans for the creation of non-state preschool educational organizations on the basis of public-private partnership are allocated to project initiators at the following differentiated interest rates and conditions:
in the city of Tashkent - for a period of 10 years, including a grace period of 2 years, at a rate of 12 percent per annum;
in the city of Nukus, administrative centers of regions and cities of regional subordination - for a period of 10 years, including a grace period of 2 years, at a rate of 8 percent per annum;
in districts - for a period of 10 years, including a grace period of 2 years, at a rate of 5 percent per annum.
