The head of state signed a decree. The government is also considered to have resigned.
Persons holding the posts of Prime Minister, First Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers, and members of the government will continue to fulfill the duties of members of the government according to their previous positions until a new government is formed.
The fact that Abylgaziev resigned became known on 15 June. He made the decision amid allegations of illegal re-registration of radio frequency resources. Abylgaziev denies all allegations.
