Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to ensure the implementation of the presidential resolution “On measures for the widespread introduction of digital technologies in the city of Tashkent” from 17 March, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures on the implementation of the geographic information and analytical system of the city of Tashkent within the framework of the comprehensive program "Digital Tashkent" on 16 July.

It should be noted that today large-scale work is underway to ensure a sustainable improvement in the quality of life, business and the development of the digital economy in the framework of the implementation of the tasks outlined in the President's Address to Parliament on 24 January 2020, the State Program for the implementation of the Action Strategy in five priority areas development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Year of the Development of Science, Education and the Digital Economy.

This resolution approved the Regulations on the procedure for electronic interaction of state bodies and organizations, a scheme for collecting, processing and analyzing data from state bodies and organizations through the geographic information and analytical system of the city of Tashkent, as well as a schedule for the implementation of this system within the framework of the comprehensive program "Digital Tashkent".

On the basis of this resolution, it is planned to provide information and analytical support to responsible leaders in collecting, processing, analyzing and storing indicators of the socio-economic development of the city of Tashkent, a comprehensive assessment of the socio-economic and socio-political situation, a comparative assessment of solving problems, determining programs and plans for trends, strategies, forecasts and development of situations, public safety, prevention and elimination of emergencies, integrate information systems of government agencies and organizations, databases and other sources of information.

Within the framework of the comprehensive program "Digital Tashkent", on the basis of the schedule for the implementation of the geographic information and analytical system of the city of Tashkent, measures consisting of 41 points will be carried out.
