Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On amendments and additions to some resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the activities of the Culture and Art Development Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement public administration in the field of cultural heritage within the framework of administrative reform”.

In accordance with the changes:

The Fund for the Development of Culture and Art under the Cabinet of Ministers will carry out the following additional functions:

development of recommendations for the development of the Cultural Heritage Agency;

consideration and approval of the annual address list of real estate objects of material cultural heritage, in which conservation works are carried out at the expense of the State budget;

monitoring the main indicators (indicators) of the effectiveness of the heads of organizations in the structure of the Cultural Heritage Agency;

the estimate of income and expenses of the Fund will be approved by the Prime Minister;

The Republican Children’s Library is transferred from the Ministry of Preschool and School Education to the Fund’s system.

In addition, the updated composition of the National Commission for UNESCO is being approved: the Chairman of the Foundation is ex officio the Chairman of the National Commission.
