The four millionth car rolled off the assembly line of the UzAuto Motors plant

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 November 2022, the four millionth car rolled off the assembly line of the UzAuto Motors plant. This was reported by the press service of the company.

It is symbolic that this car was Chevrolet Tracker - the first domestic crossover, the production of which was launched at the plant in Asaka in July this year.

It was possible to achieve such an impressive result thanks to the professional and well-coordinated work of the teams of all enterprises of the structure. Enterprises, from the conveyors of which not only cars, but also all the numerous components come off. And today, a new achievement of UzAuto Motors is celebrated not only in Asaka, but also at the Tashkent plant for the production of UzAuto Motors Powertrain engines, at the UzAuto Xorazm plant in the city of Pitnak, as well as at numerous enterprises producing various components for cars.

It should be noted that it took 22 years to reach the previous anniversary volume of 3,000,000 vehicles. The milestone of 4 million was reached in just four. All this became possible thanks to the transformation of the automotive industry, the increase in capacity, the modernization of production processes, as well as the deepening of localization.

Much has been done, but much remains to be done - in 2023 the company has set a goal of producing 500,000 vehicles with an increase to 1,000,000 in the future. Ahead of us is the launch of production of the most anticipated car Chevrolet Onix and further expansion in Central Asia. The task is difficult, but thanks to the support of the country's leadership and the dedicated work of the staff of the entire industry, it is feasible, the company said.
