Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 January, on the eve of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People’s Republic of China, the first Uzbek-Chinese interregional forum is being held in Urumqi, in which more than 1,200 representatives of the business communities of the two countries take part.

On the sidelines of the forum, meetings will be held in the “B2B” and “G2B” formats, and as a result it is planned to sign a solid package of trade contracts and investment agreements.

Also, as part of the event, with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an exhibition of products of industrial enterprises of Uzbekistan “Made in Uzbekistan” is being held.

The main goal of the exhibition is to demonstrate the development of industrial companies of Uzbekistan and their investment achievements in the Chinese market.

More than 2,000 enterprises with the participation of Chinese capital operate successfully in Uzbekistan. In 2023, more than 60 projects worth almost US$2 billion were successfully launched with the participation of Chinese companies.
