The first Italian-made SEG Motol synthetic and semi-synthetic oils were supplied to the market of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Saneg began supplying synthetic and semi-synthetic oils SEG Motol Diesel 10W-40, API CI-4/SL, manufactured at the company’s Italian plant in Bari.

Synthetic and semi-synthetic oils SEG Motol Diesel 10W-40, API CI-4/SL are designed for modern heavily loaded diesel engines of long-haul tractors, construction, quarry, and off-road equipment from European, American and Asian manufacturers. They meet the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute (API) level CI-4, as well as the E4/E7 level of the European Association of Automotive Engineers (ACEA).

In addition, these products meet the requirements of such manufacturers as Daimler (MB 228.3, 228.5), Cummins (CES 20076/20077, 20078), MAN (M 3275-1, M 3277/3377), Volvo (VDS 3), Caterpillar ( ECF-2/ECF 1a), Deutz (DQC III, IV), MTU Cat.3, MACK (E-OM Plus, E-ON), Renault Trucks (RLD-2).

The synthetic basestock used in these products provides high viscosity index, anti-wear and anti-oxidation properties, protecting the engine from wear in the most severe operating conditions.

“In 2023, Saneg sold 5.5 thousand tons of commercial oils in Uzbekistan. One of our main strategic goals is to develop and market a wider range of commercial products, including motor, transmission and industrial oils. This year we plan to sell more than 10 thousand tons of oils on the domestic market, which is about 8% of the Uzbekistan market,” said Tulkin Yusupov, General Director of Saneg.

The production of products under the SEG Motol brand in Italy began following the recent acquisition of the Italian manufacturer of high-quality automotive and industrial oils and lubricants Saneg OIL ITALY S.P.A.

The agreement envisages scientific, technical, commercial and marketing partnership between the two companies, as well as the integration of management, logistics and purchasing processes.

In 2024, the company plans to add 25 new petroleum products to the production line of the Fergana Refinery, including the production of SEG Motol motor and transmission oils for passenger cars.
