Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The organizers of the event were the Office of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications in Jizzakh region, the Jizzakh city council of the Youth Council, and local companies engaged in programming.

The forum was attended by 40 young people aged 14 to 25 years, including freelancers from Jizzakh, students of specialized training centers and those interested in the field of ICT. Presentations of young professionals in the field of web and mobile applications, graphic design took place.

As was noted during the forum, the achievement of goals in the field of ICT can be accelerated by training a new generation of specialists.

An important step in this direction is the One Million Uzbek Coders project implemented by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications. Training under the project is carried out on a special training portal uzbekcoders.uz. As part of the training, students are offered free video courses in the Uzbek language with subtitles for the four most popular specialties, including data analysis (Big Data Analytics), application development for Android, and development of web applications and software.

Today, given the development trend of areas such as information technology, programming, graphic design, the demand for these areas and the need for qualified personnel is growing every day.

During the forum, the foreign consultant of the IT park Jayaram Parthasarti, who visited the Jizzakh region, and a jury consisting of experts from the Jizzakh Territorial Administration of the Ministry and software companies, evaluated the projects presented by the participants.

At the end of the forum, the winners in the nominations “Best Web Application”, “Best Mobile Application”, “Best Graphic Design” were announced. The forum organizers presented special diplomas and souvenirs from sponsors to the winners and participants.

This forum was another good opportunity to create a single IT community, bringing together talented young people.
