Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The European Film Festival, organized by the Delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan jointly with the National Agency "Uzbekkino" with the support of the Khokimiyat of Kashkadarya region, will take place for the first time in the Palace of Culture of Shakhrisabz from 28 to 30 September.
Within the framework of the festival, seven famous paintings from Belgium, Latvia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Finland, Czech Republic and Hungary will be presented.
Opening of the festival with the participation of the Ambassador of the European Union in Uzbekistan Eduards Stiprais and the deputy head of the Mission of the Czech Republic Mikaela Pyspisilova will be held on 28 September. The festival will open Czech festival Rudolf Havlik "Fairy Tales for Emma".
All films will be shown in the original language with titles in Russian and Uzbek. Entrance to all shows is free.
It is the 6th Festival, which is annually held in Uzbekistan. The festival is expanding its borders each year.
