Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Uzbekistan, the fine under Article 227-1 of the Tax Code will be reduced by 50 times. Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov announced this on 13 February at a meeting with business representatives from the catering and trade sectors.

He noted that there will be good news within 1-2 days. The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry noted that there were problems with fines under Article 227-1.

Davron Vakhabov noted that it was decided to reduce the fine from 100% to 2% of the amount of net revenue received in the last reporting quarter.

Article 227-1 of the Tax Code envisages a fine for violation of the requirements or procedure established by law for displaying fiscal marks or equipping with automated measuring instruments or ensuring integration with information systems of tax authorities, as well as the rules for mandatory digital labeling of goods (products) by means of identification.

The article envisages a fine in the amount of net revenue received in the last quarter.
