Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 February, a film crew of the Rossiya-24 TV channel headed by journalist and presenter Anna Afanasyeva arrived in Samarkand.

The main purpose of their stay is to prepare reports that reveal the tourist potential of Samarkand. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department for Tourism and Sports of the Samarkand region.

One of the heroines of the plot will also be the Russian writer D. Sirotina, the author of the book “My Uzbekistan”, which she wrote after a long trip around the country.

Filming was carried out at cultural heritage sites and in the tourist village "Konigil". The preliminary date of the broadcast of the film is the end of February of this year. It should be noted that this film will further attract tourists from Russia and the CIS countries to Samarkand.
