Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The fifth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis commenced today in the capital of Uzbekistan.

The event has brought together a wide range of participants, including members of the Senate, government representatives, heads of ministries and agencies, deputies of local Kengashes, as well as members of the Youth Parliament under the Senate.

The session is being chaired by the head of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbayeva. The agenda includes discussions on key issues related to the country’s socio-economic development, legislative initiatives, and other pressing topics.

Special attention is being given to the engagement of youth in decision-making processes, highlighting the importance of intergenerational dialogue for the sustainable development of Uzbekistan.
