The Resolution of the President “On measures to ensure stability of the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan and timely financing of priority measures during the coronavirus pandemic” was recently adopted.

According to the Resolution, the expenses of the republican budget and local budgets will be optimized.

Certain expenses planned for the second quarter of 2020 will be carried forward to the second half of 2020.

The costs of extrabudgetary funds of state authorities, court bodies and prosecutors, ministries and departments will be reduced and the saved funds will be directed to the republican budget (excluding labor costs and material incentives for employees).

Expenditures of ministries, departments and their territorial divisions related to the purchase of fixed assets, construction, reconstruction and major repairs from extrabudgetary funds will be stopped by August 1 of this year, with the exception of activities for which funding has already begun.

Dividends accrued to the state share on net profit received in 2019 at enterprises and organizations whose state share in the authorized capital is 50 percent or more, including those received in 2020, will be directed to the state budget.

A draft presidential resolution (project) will be developed on the introduction of a unified system of remuneration for the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, bodies of the court and prosecutor's offices, bodies of state power and administration, local government bodies, all ministries and departments, their territorial bodies, as well as organizations and foundations included in  their compositions.
