Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank with a delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia headed by the Minister of Investment Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Falih.

Prospects for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed at the meeting, in particular, the possibility of introducing mechanisms of Islamic finance and Islamic banking, investing in the country's banking sector, as well as issues of establishing correspondent relations.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue work to establish cooperation between the central banks of the two countries.
