Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On the approval of certain regulatory legal acts regulating the field of environmental audit" was adopted.

The document states:

Administrative regulations for the provision of public services for the issuance of a qualification certificate of an environmental auditor;

The procedure for maintaining the register of environmental audit organizations.

Environmental audit is a systematic, documented, independent assessment of the economic and other activities of the subject of environmental audit, conducted by an environmental audit organization for compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents in the field of technical regulation and legal acts in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources.

The qualification exam for obtaining a certificate will be taken by a commission under the Ministry of Ecology.

Requirements for a candidate:

higher education in the field of ecology and environmental protection (biologist, geologist, hydrological engineer, engineer of land geodesy and cartography, as well as specialties in the protection of water, atmospheric, land and underground resources);

continuous three-year experience in the field of environmental protection or a related field.

To get a certificate:

the candidate applies through the Public Services Centers or my.gov.uz and pays a fee of 1 sizes of basic estimated value;

within 10 days, the authorized body decides on the admission of the candidate to the exams, and informs the candidate about it within three days;

when a candidate is admitted to the exam, 10 days in advance, the time and place of the exam are reported;

exams are held in the form of a test of 50 questions on a computer, the topics of the questions are posted on the website of the ministry;

the process of testing is recorded on video and stored in the commission for a year;

for each correct answer, the candidate receives 1 point, to successfully pass the test, you must score at least 40 points.
