Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan has selected 10 firms, through which citizens of Uzbekistan will apply for a visa from 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020.

Since 2018, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Uzbekistan has been implementing the procedure for submitting documents through authorized travel agencies “in connection with the expansion of social and economic exchange between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as an increase in visits of citizens of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea.

The Embassy notes that with the increase in the flow of social exchange between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the number of consular work of the Embassy is constantly increasing, and therefore, when planning the dates of the visit, please take into account the fact that there is a delay in considering visa applications due to lack of staff and conditions of the Embassy.

According to the South Korean diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan, 36,141 visa applications were submitted in 2017, and 41,000 in 2018.

Travel agencies accept and issue all types of visas except visas on official / diplomatic missions of state bodies and international marriages, consultations on applying for a visa and providing other types of services, the amount of services is 150,000 soums.
