Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The eighth meeting of the Uzbek-German Business Council was held in Tashkent.
The meeting was co-chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and a member of the presidium of the German Eastern Economic Committee, Manfred Grundke.
Participants noted that thanks to the far-sighted policies of the leaders of both countries, relations between Uzbekistan and Germany have reached a new level of strategic cooperation.
During the meeting, representatives of business circles from Uzbekistan and Germany discussed the prospects for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in such areas as green energy, digitization, human and labor resources, food security, medicine and pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, chemical industry, automotive industry, electrical engineering, and many other sectors.
