Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The law, signed by the President of Uzbekistan, introduced additions and changes to the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

According to the Law, violation of fire safety requirements in forests entails a fine:

- for citizens - from 10 to 15 sizes of basic estimated value (from 3 million 400 thousand soums to 5 million 100 thousand soums);
 
- for officials - from 20 to 25 sizes of basic estimated value (from 6 million 800 thousand soums to 8 million 500 thousand soums).

Also, in the event of a fire that occurs in a residential building due to the negligence of a person or due to his violation of fire safety rules, which is not associated with causing damage to human health or damage or destruction of someone else’s property, this person is exempt from administrative liability for violating fire safety rules.

The law comes into force 3 months from the date of official publication.
