Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Deputy Chairman of the Uzeltehsanoat Association M. Khashimov and general manager of the Dutch company Signify (formerly Philips Lighting) in the RCA region (Russia, Ukraine and the CIS) E. Benedetti conducted online negotiations.
The meeting was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries.
During the meeting, the Dutch side said that it was interested in establishing cooperation with Uzbek manufacturers of lighting products, in particular, professional LED lamps for lighting streets and roads, for industry, agricultural and other fields of application.
Benedetti emphasized that Signify sees one of its priorities as creating an appropriate market for the sale of high-tech lighting products, which implies at the initial stage both the sale of finished products and the supply of components available to the company for the production of LED lamps by local manufacturers.
Within the framework of the meeting, an agreement was reached on establishing Signify cooperation with large manufacturers of lighting devices in Uzbekistan in the direction of production of professional LED lamps, taking into account the interest of Uzbek companies in establishing production of high-tech and innovative products.
