Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank has developed a draft regulation "On the maximum amount of risk per borrower, a group of related borrowers, including persons associated with the bank" and posted on the portal www.regulation.gov.uz.

The norms stipulated in the draft of this document were developed based on the standards of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, as well as the best practices of foreign countries. At the same time, 2 existing normative legal acts are unified, the norms of which will be reflected in a single document.

The draft regulation envisages the following issues:

- the maximum amount of risk per borrower, a group of related borrowers, including persons associated with the bank;

- the connectedness of a group of borrowers based on control and economic dependence, as well as possible scenarios for the occurrence of this relationship;

- a list of persons related to the bank and requirements for transactions with them;

- risk reduction factors per borrower, a group of related borrowers, including persons related to the bank.
