Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 May, a regular meeting of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis was held. It was conducted by the Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva. At the meeting, a resolution was adopted to convene the fortieth plenary session of the Senate on 3 May 2023.

It was noted that at the plenary session, which will be held using the videoconferencing system, it is planned to discuss a number of laws.

These include the laws “On Amendments and Addenda to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility”, “On Amendments and Amendments to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at ensuring the inviolability of funds in bank accounts of entrepreneurs” and “On Amendments to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility”.

The plenary session will also discuss the laws “On the Ratification of the Convention of the International Labor Organization No. 148 on the Protection of Workers from Occupational Risk Caused by Air Pollution, Noise and Vibration at Work (Geneva, on 20 June 1977)” and “On the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the use of airspace and airfields by aircraft of state aviation in force majeure circumstances (Dushanbe, on 10 June 2021)”.
