Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaIly.uz) -- Private Joint-Stock Bank Turkiston was declared bankrupt in line with the court decision. The press service of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

Tashkent Inter-district Economic Court issued relevant decision on 15 February.

The regulator said that the liquidation commission of the bank also stopped its work. 

The court appointed A.Keldiyev as liquidation manager to conduct liquidation proceedings.

On 7 October, the Central Bank Board revoked the licenses of Hi-Tech Bank and Turkistonbank. After that the process of liquidation of financial institutions began. 

At the end of December 2022, Hi-Tech Bank challenged the decision of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan to revoke the license in court.
