The Council of Young Cinematographers of Uzbekistan launch the second season of educational project in the field of cinema “ART HOUSE”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Council of Young Cinematographers of Uzbekistan launch the second season of educational project in the field of cinema “ART HOUSE”.

A free project is carried out by the Council of Young Cinematographers with the support of the Youth Union, the National Agency “Uzbekkino” and the Center for Cinematography Development. It allows young people under 30 years of age to learn the basics of cinema from the best specialists in their field - directors, scriptwriters, cameramen and actors.

In the second season of “ART HOUSE”, directors Ali Khamrayev, Kamara Kamalova and Jasur Iskhakov will carry out courses. They will teach directing and drama. Acting skills will be taught by Alisher Uzakov, Rano Shodiev and Dilnoz Kubayev, camera work by Hamidulla Khasanov and Yodgor Nosirov. There will also be recruited a separate course in which boys and girls will learn the art of makeup, the work of the artist and the second director.

The first season of "ART HOUSE", implemented in 2018, brought great rewards. At four courses under the direction of eminent filmmakers Yolkin Tuychiev, Jahongir Kosimov, Ayub Shakhobiddinov and Rashid Malikov, 59 young men and women who decided to associate their lives with this kind of art studied. They studied directing, drama, acting and cinematography. They were taught by such masters of their craft as actors Karim Mirhodiev and Dilmurod Masaidov, the national writer of Uzbekistan, the famous screenwriter Erkin Azam, cameramen Jasur Shametov, Aziz Arzikulov, Hamidulla Hasanov and others.

Two graduates of the first season “ART HOUSE” took part in the main competition of the IV International Film Festival “PROlogue” with their short films. Makhlieu Askaralieva’s picture “The Bird” and Gulnara Ivanova’s film “The Fountain” received flattering reviews from the international jury of the film festival.
