Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential resolution “On measures to expand the coverage and improve the quality of digital services, as well as the digital transformation of spheres, industries and regions” was adopted.
The resolution approved the following:
a list of 300 priority projects implemented under the Digital Government and Digital Region programs in 2023–2024;
a list of 95 services introduced on the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services, primarily as part of bringing the number of services provided on the portal to 570 by the end of 2023;
a list of 47 types of information, the demand for which from the population and business entities is canceled starting from 1 December 2023;
a list of notices and notices sent to the population and business entities on the status of access to services.
From 1 June 2023, part of the projects implemented by the republican and local executive authorities at the expense of external loans and gratuitous aid funds, directed to digital components, must be coordinated with the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
According to the Law, the information system "Digital Geoportal" and the platform "People’s Control" are launched:
until 1 September 2023 - in the cities of Angren, Akhangaran, Yangiyul, Chirchik and Nurafshan;
and until the end of 2023 - in the cities of Jizzakh and Urgench.
From 1 October 2023, business entities are allowed to carry out retail trade operations in goods placed under the customs regime of a free warehouse as part of electronic commerce.
As the next stage of the One Million Programmers project, foreign prestigious educational platforms are organizing the opportunity to study at online training courses in the IT direction.
From 1 October, 2023, a system is being introduced to cover 100 percent of the costs of obtaining international IT certificates by citizens who have a level of knowledge of a foreign language at level B2 or more.
Non-state educational centers will be provided with a one-time subsidy for each graduate who is employed in companies that are residents of the IT park and export IT services in the amount of up to 75 sizes of basic estimated value, and for young people with disabilities - up to 105 sizes of basic estimated value.
