Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan with one of the leading Chinese construction companies, China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd.

The main issue of discussion was the development and implementation of joint projects aimed at modernizing infrastructure, in particular, the reconstruction of highways in the city of Tashkent, within the framework of public-private partnerships.

Representatives of the Chinese company expressed their intention to implement five projects in the field of transport in Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of such cooperation for both countries and noted its role in strengthening economic ties and developing infrastructure.

Proposals were also made to expand cooperation, including the possibility of introducing new projects within the framework of public-private partnerships.
