Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Today, on 4 November, the republican championship in taekwondo among adults started at the "Universal" sports complex under the Taekwondo WT Association of Uzbekistan.

At this championship of the country, the best are revealed in 16 weight categories, in 8 of which in the women’s part of the competition. According to the regulations, on the starting day of the competition, fights among women will be held in weight categories: up to 62 and up to 67 kg, in the men’s part of the tournament in 3 categories: up to 54, up to 58, up to 87 kg.

It is worth noting that, along with the debutants of the championship, experienced taekwondo athletes also take part: Shokhsanam Azamova, Ozoda Sobirdjanova, Gulsanam Alidjanova, Shahzod Saifiev, Niyaz Pulatov, Sardor Toirov, Jasur Jaisunov, Shahboz Tusmatov, Shukhrat Salaevich, Nikita Rafalovich, Svetlana Osipova and Shuhrata Radjabov.
