Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its territorial departments would change dramatically. This was stated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a dialogue with entrepreneurs.

From now on they will:

- to unite entrepreneurs of districts, cities, in practice to engage in the identification of problems and issues that concern them;

- organize business schools based on advanced methods in every district and city;

- have the right to make submissions to khokims and other local leaders that are mandatory for consideration;

- hold critical discussions with local councils and khokims at least twice a month.

At the same time, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be empowered to:

- submit to the Government issues that are mandatory for consideration;

- to file in the interests of the entrepreneur claims to the Supreme Court and applications for appealing court decisions in economic, administrative and criminal cases.

To implement all of the above proposals, a Public Council to support entrepreneurs will be formed under the President.

The head of the Presidential Administration was instructed to organize the work of the council within two weeks.
