Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbaeva, met with the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Chân Thanh Mân, during his official visit to Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

Special attention was given to the necessity of establishing regular contacts between the parliaments of the two countries, as well as intensifying the work of the youth parliaments in both nations.

As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
