The Central Bank to hold a number of events as part of the Global Money Week

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Central Bank has begun to study the issue of organizing the Global Money Week in the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be held 23-29 March 2020worldwide.

Within three days from 28 January to 31 January, the Central Bank held meetings with ministries, departments, international organizations and commercial banks to engage stakeholders in this campaign. It is planned that at the "Global Money Week" large-scale events will be held throughout the republic, which include contests and training events.

The Central Bank has undertaken commitments to coordinate activities held as part of Global Money Week in Uzbekistan.

Global Money Week is an annual global educational campaign to raise awareness of children and youth about finances. Countries from around the world are participating to raise awareness of the importance of financial education and the involvement of children and youth in the financial sector. In 2019, 175 countries were involved in the event.
