The Central Bank of Uzbekistan registers four more microfinance organizations
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has added four more companies to the registry of microfinance organizations. This decision was made by the regulator’s board.
The following organizations have been granted the right to provide microloans to the population: Bright Future Financing Mikromoliya Tashkiloti, Muvaffaqiyat Mikromoliya Tashkiloti, Urban Finance Solutions Tashkiloti, and Xon Saroy Moliya.
As of 2 April, more than 120 microloan organizations operate in the country based on licenses from the Central Bank, with 19 new microfinance organizations having been registered since the beginning of this year.
