Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Another meeting was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan with a delegation from Mastercard headed by Vice President Gokberk Bichakchi.

The sides discussed the current state of cooperation, as well as the preliminary results of the first phase of the research project under the joint Memorandum of Cooperation. 

It was noted that as a result of the study of the payment services market, proposals were formulated for the further development of this market and an increase in the share of non-cash payments.

The parties also discussed issues of countering cyber attacks, increasing the level of cyber security and awareness of bank employees and the public in this direction.
