The Central Bank launches a project to increase the financial literacy of children in children’s camps

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – As part of comprehensive efforts to increase the financial literacy of children and youth, the Central Bank is launching an initiative to conduct educational and recreational activities in children’s camps.

In particular, on 3 July, training for counselors was organized at the Central Bank, where a program of events for children in two main areas is presented: educational and recreational games and physical workouts with elements of financial literacy.

The program of events designed for students in grades 2–7 covers a wide range of topics, such as “what is money”, “income and expenses”, “family budget”, “personal savings”, “lending”, “insurance”, “ risks and financial security ”,“ bank card ”.

The Central Bank has developed and provided training materials in the form of a methodological guide, banners, posters and interactive kits for events. The methodological guide is developed in an accessible language, which allows the project participants (counselors) to correctly convey financial knowledge in an entertaining format.

The Central Bank is ready to cooperate with interested organizations on this project.
