Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Central Election Comission (CEC) of Kazakhstan announced the preliminary results of the elections.
“The total number of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, according to the updated voter lists, amounted to 11,953,465 people. Number of received ballots reached 8 300 046, or 69.44%. On voting day, more than 11,000 proxies of candidates for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 641 observers of foreign states and international organizations, 15,500 observers from political parties, and more than 30,000 from public associations observed the election procedures,” Nurlan Abdirov, Chairman of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, said. at a press conference.
The CEC of Kazakhstan gives the following preliminary results:
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev - 81.31% (6,456,392 people);
Jiguli Dayrabaev - 3.42% (271,641 people);
Karakat Abden - 2.60% (206,206 people);
Meiram Kajyken - 2.53% (200,907 people);
Nurlan Auesbaev - 2.22% (176,116 people);
Saltanat Tursynbekova - 2.12% (168,731 people);
Column "Against all" - 5.8% (460,484 people).
On 20 November at 21:00, the presidential elections ended in the territory of Kazakhstan.
Earlier, the results of the exit-poll for the elections were announced. According to the first data, 82.45% of voters voted for Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
